110 kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country skiing tracks crisscross the valley floor, allowing breathtaking views of the mighty Zugspitze Mountains and the Mieming Range.
The charming mountain scenery of the Tyrol attracts many hikers and walkers who can choose from more than 500 km of marked hiking trails. The whole family will enjoy a cable-car ride with the Tyrol Zugspitze –lift to the highest mountain in Germany. From the 3000m Zugspitze Mountain, the Karwendel Mountain Range as well as the German alpine upland can be seen.
