This high alpine valley is very popular among winter tourists. The clearly structured ski area of Saas-Grund is especially suitable for families. Around the Kreuzboden Mountain (LINK) ski-pistes run from 3200 m. The ski areas of Saas-Almagell and Saas-Fee can be explored with the Saas Valley Ski Pass.
Monte Rosa – an alpine classic
In summer 350 marked hiking trails lead through glacial scenery. There are many high-altitude trails above the Saas Valley. The several-day tour around Monte Rose is one of the classic hikes in the Alps. Saas-Fee is the ideal starting point for hikes into the mountains.
Summer skiing in Saas-Grund: glacier ski area at 3600 meter with many downhill runs. Snowboarders and freestylers will have fun in the big Freestyle Park. Enjoy great weather and snow even in summer!
