Where is Mieders?

The Tirolean municipality of Mieders belongs to the Innsbruck Land district and is located in the Stubaital Valley at the foot of 2,718 m Serles Mountain. The village centre is at 952 m a.s.l.. Mieders covers an area of 16.5 km² and is home to 1,728 people. 

What's the weather like in Mieders?

What's going on in the winter?

The gondola starts at the bottom of Serles Mountain, right in the centre of Mieders. It runs both in winter and in summer. The ski resort has just recently updated its snow-making system and boasts perfectly groomed ski pistes.  Hochserles Mountain Restaurant, located at Koppeneck and Serlesbahnen Mountain Station respectively, offers delicious local food. What's going on in the summer?

Mieders is a very popular destination also in the summer. Great nature and fantastic offers attract holidaymakers from all over the world. The summer tobogganing run is a special highlight of every visit: it starts at Koppeneck mountain station and finishes at the valley station of the gondola. What To Do in Mieders and its Surroundings?

Nearby villages such as Telfes, Neustift, Kampl or Schönberg are also perfect starting points for hiking or mountain biking tours. Stubai Glacier at the end of the valley attracts locals as well as tourists from Germany, Switzerland, Italy or France – the slopes here are perfect for cruising. Innsbruck is only 11km from Mieders and can easily be reached by bus; Innsbruck is known for its great cultural and culinary offer.
