In accordance with inner Alpine areas, the climate is very mild in Bressanone. Annual average precipitation is 650 mm, with May to August having the most rainfall. The summer months are naturally also the hottest with 6-8 hours of sunshine per day. July is particularly warm with an average temperature of 19.6° C. Winters in Brixen are not overly cold with temperatures just below freezing.
