For golfers there are two 18-hole championship courses at the Zell am See-Kaprun Golf Club. Each winter the “Ski and Golf World Championships” take place: downhill ski race at the Kiztsteinhorn ski area and golf tournament.
Zell am See is a summer paradise: the 4,5 km² Lake Zell has a lot to offer – swimming, surfing, water skiing and sailing. Rent a boat for a ride on the lake. Explore nature and scenery of Lake Zell on a pleasure boat. Activities like rafting and canyoning are possible on the two mountain rivers Salzach and Saalach.
