Situated between Schladming Tauern Mountains and the south walls of the Dachstein Mountains, Reiteralm forms the western border of Schladming-Dachstein ski resort. In summer tourists are attracted by the great variety of mountain biking routes and hiking trails suitable for all levels of fitness. Reiteralm hiking and recreation paradise is easily accessible via Reiteralm Street or Preunegg Gondola. Motor sports enthusiasts never miss the Ennstal Classic and Rock the Roof. Having staged the 2013 Alpine World Ski Championships-WM, Reiteralm is now organising the 2017 Special Olympics.
