The Styrian town of Schladming (753 m) has a population of 4.525 people and covers an area of 10,3 km².
The average temperature is 5,9 °C, the yearly precipitation is about 1.052,6 mm. Schladming sees the most rain in August with 144,3 mm, while December is the driest month with 53,2 mm of precipitation. July is the hottest month and January is the coldest.
Schladming-Dachstein ski resort sits nestled between the Schladming Tauern Mountains and the south walls of Dachstein Mountains and offers genuine winter magic on about 230 km of pistes.
