Ehrwald is situated at 994 m above sea level in the province of Tyrol. The community has 2.685 inhabitants and covers an area of 49,4 km².
Mean annual temperature is 6,3 degree Celsius, annual precipitation is 1.356 mm. Rainfall is at its highest in August at 187,2 mm, at its lowest in December at 63,8 mm. It’s warmest in July, coolest in January.
