Kappl is situated at 1.258 m above sea level in the province of Tyrol. The community has 2.641 inhabitants and covers an area of 97,49 km².
Mean annual temperature is 3,4 degree Celsius, annual precipitation is 1.081,9 mm. Rainfall is at its highest in August at 166,1 mm, at its lowest in April at 44,7 mm. It’s warmest in July, coolest in January.
The picturesque village of Kappl is located on the sunny side of the Paznaun Valley. It has retained its unique Tyrolean character and is especially popular among families.
