Nauders is situated at 1.394 m above sea level in the province of Tyrol. The community has 1.566 inhabitants and covers an area of 90,3 km².

Mean annual temperature is 4,3 degree Celsius, annual precipitation is 988,1 mm. Rainfall is at its highest in August at 134,2 mm, at its lowest in April at 47,6 mm. It’s warmest in July, coolest in January.
The small village of Nauders lies on one of the oldest trade routes in Europe, the Via Claudia Augusta, and has a along history. This region borders Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Over the years Nauders has become a very well known holiday region with a great variety of offers.

Skiing in Nauders
Located at 1400 meters Nauders offers optimum conditions for a great winter holiday. Travellers can ski up to 2666 metres and enjoy 70 kilometres of piste. Together with the Italian ski areas of Haider Alm and Schöneben am Reschensee there are even 117 kilometres available.

Summer at Lake Reschen
This holiday region offers more than 3000km of marked cross-border hiking trails between Italy and Austria. The plateau also offers excellent conditions for mountain bike or bicycle tours. Numerous bicycle races and the “Race across the Alps” take place in this first class holiday region. The offer is completed by canyoning, Nordic walking or parachuting.
