The Bavarian municipality of Bayrischzell is situated between Schliersee Lake in the west and Oberaudorf in the east.

More than 100km of perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails attract thousands of cross-country skiers every year. 50km are classic style and 50km are skating style trails. Bayrischzell also features a winter theme park for children or beginners to skiing. The park offers ski lessons for children and a magic carpet.
Bayrischzell is a very popular summer holiday destination for hikers and cyclist since it offers fantastic views from Wendelstein Mountain. Wendelstein Mountain is 1,.838m high and Bayrischzell’s local mountain. The hiking and walking trails are suitable for all ages and are the perfect adventure for the whole family.
