Brenzone is situated at 69m above sea level. The community has 2.555 inhabitants and covers an area of 50,04 km².
Mean annual temperature is 12,4 degree Celsius, annual precipitation is 849 mm. Rainfall is at its highest in May at 91,7 mm, at its lowest in December at 53,8 mm. It’s warmest in July, coolest in January.
The Brenzone area includes 16 little villages which are located at the bottom of Monte Baldo. Castelletto, Magugnano, Porto and Assenza can be found between Malcesine and Garda right next to Lake Garda. The other villages are situated a little higher and allow a fantastic view of the lake.
Culture enthusiasts will love the Roman villa of Castelletto, the old San Zeno Church or the former fortress of the Lords of Brenzone in Biazza.
Sailing is very popular in Brenzone. International regattas are organized here and the Castelletto Sailing Club is considered one of the best sailing and surfing schools. Hiking is also very hip in this area: the Prada Costabella lift takes you to the top of the Monte Baldo Mountains – on a clear day the view to Lake Garda is fantastic.
Lake Garda offers a unique combination of high mountains and lake landscape. The size of the lake can only be guessed on a boat trip to Malcesine or Garda.
A visit to Italy’s biggest amusement park “Gardaland” will be remembered by the whole family. Enjoy some of the many shows and attractions. Very close you find the “Aqua Paradise” - a water amusement park with wave pool.
An absolute must is a day-trip to the romantic city of Verona. Retrace the steps of Romeo and Juliet or visit an opera at the antique Arena of Verona. The historic area of Brenzone on Lake Garda is the perfect starting point for great holidays in Italy.
