Located at an altitude of 766 m in the Italian Province of Trentino, Dimaro joined the villages of Monclassico and Folgarida to become Dimaro Folgarida. Folgarida is about eight kilometres from Dimaro. The community is home to 2,206 people and covers an area of 36.53 qm2. Population density is 60 persons per square kilometre.
The weather in Dimaro is mild and generally warm. It sees the most rain in August with 98 mm, while January is driest with about 35 mm. July is the hottest month, January the coldest.

The region of Dimaro Folgarida is perfect for outdoor activities such as rafting, hiking or mountain biking. Dimaro Alm is worth the hike since regional delicacies are offered on the top of the mountain. Dimaro is also home to the Teatro Comunale, featuring performances, concerts and events throughout the year. Places of interest are also the historic Palazzo del Dazio, the ancient stone fountain and the church.
