Madonna di Campiglio is a village in the North Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige. Located at an elevation 1,550 m between the Western Dolomites and the glaciers of the Adamello- Presanella Alps, Madonna di Campiglio is about 30 km to the northwest of Trento. The 750 residents are mostly involved in the tourism industry, which was already introduced to the region in the 19th century.
The average annual temperature is around 11.2°C. June to August is the hottest time of the year with an average temperature of 29°C, December to January is the coldest. Madonna di Campiglio sees the most rain in May, while December to February are the driest months.

The local sled dog school offers unique dog-sled rides through dreamy winter landscape. Ice climbing enthusiast will definitely enjoy the frozen waterfalls of the Brenta Valley. The mountains of Madonna di Campiglio offer 450 km of hiking and walking trails and are the ideal scenery for a summer vacation. The Brenta Dolomites do not only feature numerous trekking routes to the various mountain huts, but also offers challenging high-mountain routes with vial ferratas. The area around the Adamello- Presanella Glacier is perfect for family outings or walks to mountain lakes or mountain restaurants. The area features 26 different mountain biking and cycling routes of various levels of difficulty suitable for the young and the young at heart.
