Mean annual temperature is 12,4 degree Celsius, annual precipitation is 849 mm. Rainfall is at its highest in May at 91,7 mm, at its lowest in December at 53,8 mm. It’s warmest in July, coolest in January.
The picturesque holiday destination of Malcesine is located on the north shore of Lake Garda. The medieval town centre, towered by the Scaliger Castle, is characterized by arcades, cobble stone streets and narrow paths. From the top of the castle you overlook Malcesine and the north of Lake Garda.

Monte Baldo panoramic cable-car takes you to the top of Tratto Spino at 1760 m. The top station is the ideal starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours into this impressive mountain range.
Skiing on Monte Baldo is possible from Christmas to March. The cable-car leads to the only winter sports resort at Lake Garda. Seven ski lifts are available for ski enthusiasts.
Due to the mild and healthy climate walks through the hills, mountains, olive groves and Mediterranean vegetation are possible throughout the year.
