Brigels is situated at 1.280 m above sea level in the canton of Graubünden. The community has 1.308 inhabitants and covers an area of 50,64 km².
Mean annual temperature is 5,5 degree Celsius, annual precipitation is 1.036 mm. Rainfall is at its highest in August at 112 mm, at its lowest in February at 63 mm. It’s warmest in July, coolest in January.
There’s a fantastic view during skiing on 75 km of slopes at the ski resort Brigels-Waltensburg- Andiast. The lowest point is on 1,110 m above sea level and the highest on 2,418 m above sea level. Within 15 minutes you have reached the highest point.

There are several Freestyle Events taken place at the snowpark Surselva . One of the most famous events is the NITRO Surselva Jam. A slope style contest with following parties and concerts.
