Together with the villages of Hinterthal, Dienten and Mühlbach am Hochkönig, Maria Alm forms the Hochkönig ski region and is also one of the largest ski areas in Austria. The Hochkönig ski region is part of the large Ski Amadé network and offers perfectly groomed pistes and modern lifts. With 33 modern cable car facilities and a total of 120 kilometers of pistes, you can swing from mountain to mountain, always with the beautiful mountain panorama in view. A special experience is the"Königstour", one of the longest ski circuits in Austria, which leads over six peaks and offers breathtaking views. The Funslope for beginners and advanced skiers is also located right next to the Schönangerbahn mountain station. Don't miss the view from the 2000 meter high Aberg. In good weather, you have a wonderful panorama from here over the whole of Pinzgau as far as Saalfelden.
