In winter the 3,6 km-long Maria Waldrast toboggan run is a highlight. This medium-difficulty run offers long, fast curves and is one of the most beautiful and interesting runs in Tirol. The monastery is surrounded by a 29 km-long multi-track cross-country ski trail, leading up to an altitude of 1,770m. A shuttle takes you to Bergeralm ski resort, which is only 5 km away, or to the well-known Stubai Glacier ski resort.
