Where is Wattens?

The Austrian town of Wattens located in the federal state of Tirol covers an area of 10.84 km² and is home to around 8,000 people. Swarovski is headquartered in Wattens. The mountains and the historic town centre can be the backdrop of beautiful holidays in the Lower Inn valley. Tirol attracts holidaymakers from all around Europe, especially from Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. How far is it from Vienna to Wattens?

The Austrian capital of Vienna is 460 km east of Wattens and it takes about five hours by car to get there. On the way you pass St. Pölten, Melk and the city of Salzburg. Vienna to Wattens by train is no problem at all and includes only one change of train. Visitors from Switzerland, Germany and other European countries may travel by plane to Innsbruck.
