Whether x-country skiing and tobogganing in the winter or hiking and swimming in the summer, there is a lot to do every time of the year.
In the winter enjoy pristine nature, well-groomed snowshoeing paths or fantastic x-country skiing trails. NTC ski school in Oberstdorf is a great place to start skiing.
The community is also known for its traditional festivals and events. Burgberg night parade takes place every second year on carnival Saturday.
Visitors can choose from a wide offer of accommodations such as holiday apartment, farm, inn or B&B.
Originating at 1,070m between Wertacher Hörnle and Grünten, the river Starzlach is the creator of Starzlachklamm gorge. Do not miss this special natural phenomenon. The hike leads past overhangs, bridges and roaring waterfalls. Get some refreshments at Alpenblick mountain restaurant
