The mountain village of Filzmoos in the Province of Salzburg is situated at an altitude of 1.057 metres and boasts guaranteed snow in winter. Filzmoos is known as a “snow hole”. Which means skiers can enjoy excellent piste conditions and those undertaking other winter pursuits such cross country skiing, snowshoe walkers, winter walkers or taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride can marvel at the snowy landscape. When the sun comes out in the clear blue sky the winter wonderland is perfect.
