What’s happening in Neustift – Hochstubai
The town of Neustift – Hochstubai is located right at the foot of the Elferspitze. At an altitude of 2,505 meters, this mountain that is also called the Elferkofel or Elfer is accessible via cable car. The leisure and recreational area inspires many paragliders in summer; paragliding and hang-gliding provide an exceptional experience because of the special thermals on the Elfer Mountain. The numerous hiking trails with all levels of difficulty and the local pastures are inviting places to linger. Climbing routes and via ferrata round out the Elfer offerings.
In winter, the mountain has very wide natural snow slopes to delight skiers and snowboarders. Those who enjoy sledding have already discovered the mountain as an insider tip and delight over the longest groomed natural toboggan runs in Tyrol, which are lit on certain days.
