Where is Warth?

The village of Warth is located in the Bregenz district, about 42 km south-east of Lake Constance at an elevation of 1,495 m above sea level near to the Tirolean border. With a population of 155 inhabitants Warth is the second smallest municipality in Vorarlberg. Population density amounts to 8 inhabitants per km2.

What's Going On in the Winter?

Warth-Schröcken is ideally located at the north side of the Alps between Arlberg, Lechtal and Bregenz Forest, which makes it one of the snowiest ski areas in Europe. In 2017 SKI Arlberg resort was voted best ski resort of the Alps. Find excellent snow conditions at the north and east faces also in spring. What's Going On in the Summer?

In the summer the mountain station of the chairlift is a very popular starting point for hikes. Here you find hiking trails with all levels of difficulty like the tour to Wartherhorn. A very recommendable destination is Köbersee. This wonderful alpine lake is situated in Lechquellen Mountains at an elevation of 1,600 m above sea level.
