The Italian community is famous for its hiking routes up Monte Rosa mountains as well as its vast offer of winter sports activities. Along with Alagna Valsesia, Champoluc and Frachey, Gressoney is part of Monterosa Ski Resort, one of the biggest ski resorts in Europe with more than 100km of piste. The ski resort goes up to 3,250m and covers the area from Gressoney-La-Trinité, Alagna Valsesia and Champoluc.
