Umhausen is a municipality of the Imst district in the western state of Tyrol / Austria. Umhausen is home to more than 3,450 people and covers an area of around 137 km². Located at 1,031m a.s.l. this Tirolean community sits in the Ötztal Alps at the torrential fan of Horlachbach stream and borders the Stubai Alps in the east.
