The climate in Andorra is rather cold and wet due to the altitude and location in the bordering mountain ranges of the Pyrenees between France and Spain. June and July are particularly dry and temperatures rarely reach more than 28° C. Snow mainly falls in December and January and, due to the constantly cold weather, stays until March, providing excellent ski conditions. Andorra is now also regarded as an exclusive winter sports location.
