Where is Bardolino?

The municipality of Bardolino belongs to the Province of Verona in the Italian Veneto region. Located on the shore of Lake Garda, Bardolino is home to 7,200 people and covers an area of 54.82 km². The community is not only a beautiful holiday destination but also well known for its wine. Bardolino is about thirty kilometres south from Malcesine located on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, Lago di Garda in Italian. Lake Garda is the biggest lake in Italy sitting between the Alps in the north and the Po Valley in the south. The northern part of Lake Garda belongs to the region of Trentino-South Tirol, the western part to Lombardy and the east to Venetia. It is under the administration of Trento, Verona and Brescia. Bardolino enjoys a warm and temperate climate with hot summers perfect for a beach holiday. Spring and autumn are considerably hotter than in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Temperatures in the winter may be below zero, snow in the valley, however, is rare. Rain is possible any time of the year, least in late summer and autumn.
