Klosters – a resort for bon vivants
The Walser municipality of Klosters has maintained its village charm and attracts an international clientele seeking an exclusive holiday. The understated charm of the village was discovered by British royals and many of their countrymen have followed them. The extensive, classic winter-sport area of Parsenn is reached with the Gotschna aerial cableway. In summer, the new freeride trail on Gotschna is one of the magnets for mountain bikers.
For families, Madrisa Land, an Alpine experience park on the other side of the mountain, offers children a great time in both summer and winter. Trendy après-ski bars, stylish restaurants and romantic mountain huts ensure holiday experiences to remember. Culture lovers will find several treasures, either in galleries, exhibitions or the Kulturschuppen (cultural centre).
