The small mountain community of Galtür is located at the very end of the Paznaun Valley at 1600 m above sea level. In winter Galtür is only accessible from Tyrol, whereas in summer it is possible to drive to Vorarlberg and other holiday destinations such as Gaschurn via the scenic Silvretta High Alpine Road.
