Starting in autumn, you`ll already find the perfect snow for a perfect winter sports experience. Whether you`re racing down pristine white slopes or the spectacular off-piste ski routes or on your board in the snowparks, the variety of choices you`ll find is unmatched.

The Kitzsteinhorn summit station is situated 9,940 feet above sea level and is a real shining star among the countless alpine options. The Gipfelwelt 3000 is a popular excursion destinatin all year round with Cinema 3000, viewing platforms “Top of Salzburg” and “National Park Gallery”.

From January to mid-April the ICE CAMP presented by Audi quattro is the meeting point for cool drinks and relaxing music and to admire a world of ice and snow, with a new setting every year.

Best known for its world-class snow parks and well-signposted freeride route is the Kitzsteinhorn.

The family mountain Maiskogel is the ideal ski resort for families and all winter sports fans who appreciate the gentle terrain, local proximity and the cosiness of the traditional huts.

The leisurely flat pistes of the beginners` area Lechnerberg directly in the centre of Kaprun are a popular meeting point for families and first-time skiers.
