The Styrian village of Turrach is located in the Upper Mur Valley in the Gurktal Alps, it is part of the Stadl - Predlitz municipality and belongs to Murau district. Turracher Höhe is in Carinthia and is part of Nockberge tourism area. Nockberge Biosphere Park is a protected nature reserve with a great variety of flora and fauna.
