The favoured activity at Tannheimer Tal is hiking. Our guests chose the Tannheimer valley to their favoured travelling aim of the year 2007, 2008 and in 2009. The natural offer is unusual: An alpine flora with more than 1,200 different kinds, fresh brooks and lakes, the wide Alps and striking summits. They all form unique scenery. There are a few other sports recreation possibilities in the nicest high valley of Europe: Big swimming-pools, cycle tracks appropriate for family, diversify mountain bike distances, spectacular paraglide flights.

There are culinary specialities of the region to enjoy in the valley and on 31 managed alps and huts.

Coloured variety in white splendour...

By the height of 1100 metres the winter sports take place in the Tannheimer Tal. The season starts in the middle of December and ends in the middle of April. And this you expect: two 8 seater cable cars, two seater chair lift, one 3 seater chair lift, one 4 seater chair lift and one 6 seater chair lift. In total there are 27 ski lifts and the highest point where they can bring you up is on 1.820 metres. All together there are 55 kilometres of very well cultivated slopes are available. Seven ski schools with professional ski teacher helping you to come down the slope and to enjoy the ski area. For long-dated securities there are more than 140 kilometres of cross-country trails through the snow-covered Tannheimer Tal and for winter lead Nordic Walking there are 6 distances with 26.8 metres for choice.
