Tulfes is a municipality in the Austrian district of Innsbruck-Land/Tirol. It is home to 1,640 people and covers an area of 27.71 km². It sits at the foot of 2,677 m Glungezer Mountain. The municipal area ranges from the Inntal valley to the Volder Valley, the left valley side belongs to Tulfes, the right side to Volders.
