Wildschönau is a municipality in the district of Kufstein in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is located in a 24-kilometre-long high valley in the Kitzbühel Alps, around 6 kilometers south of Wörgl. The valley extends at altitudes between 828 and 2,309 meters and comprises the four parish villages of Niederau, Oberau, Auffach and Thierbach.
