Klösterle is situated at 1.073 m above sea level in the province of Vorarlberg. The community has 746 inhabitants.
Located in the beautiful Kloster Valley, Klösterle am Arlberg – also called the gate to the Arlberg – is one of the top destinations on the renowned Arlberg. Peace and quiet can still be found in this area and that is also why this small place is so popular among tourists.
Klösterle has its own ski area. The lift takes skiers and snowboarders up to 2000 meters. 30 kilometres of ski runs, many deep snow slopes and off-piste skiing opportunities await the sports enthusiast. The Sonnenkopf Mountain is part of the big Arlberg ski area, so feel free to visit Lech, Zürs or Stuben, St. Cristoph and St. Anton in Tyrol.
In summer the Klösterle mountainscape changes into fantastic blooming meadows. Explore the Lechtal Alps and the Verwall on a hike or a mountain biking tour. Maybe you just want to enjoy the great weather on the Arlberg at the top station of the Sonnenkopf Mountain.
