The Czech community Dolní Morava (in German: Niedermohrau) is situated near Králíky between Moravia and Bohemia at Ústí nad Orlicí region and is home to 418 people. The village lies at the foot of the Králický Sněžník Mountains between the Eagle Mountains and Jeseníky Mountains and is part of Kralický Sněžník National Nature Reserve, where the river Morava rises. The villages Horní Morava (Obermohrau) and Velká Morava (Großmohrau) also belong to the municipality.
The so-called marble of Králický Sněžník Mountains was cut in the quarry near Velká Morava.
Dolní Morava skiing area is located at the foot of Králický Sněžník Mountains at an altitude ranging from 650 to 1232 m. The skiing area offers a total of 10 km of pistes of all levels of difficulty, which makes it an ideal destination for all skiers. Seven lifts take the winter sports fans to the top.
Guests like the après-ski at the toboggan run and the little ones have fun at the kids' ski park.
The area is also very popular with cross-country skiers, as they will find about 50 km of X-country skiing trails linked to Jeseník X-country skiing trail. The trails start at Sněžník mountain station.

The surroundings of the village are ideal for hikes, bicycle tours, canoeing and fishing. Take the cable car up to the mountain station to start wonderful hiking tours, it is also a hotspot for paragliders. Do not miss the recommended hiking tour to the cloud trail. There is also a beautiful observation deck near Sněžník cable car. The area is located at an altitude of 1,116 m. If you take the cloud trail you can get even 55m higher. From there you will have a breath-taking view of Králický Sněžník mountains, the distant Jeseník mountains and the river Morava.
Further highlights are the Mammoth Alpine Coaster and the church of St. Aloisie with its impressive stone statues of saints and a nice brick chapel with two crucifixes. For thrill seekers the rope bridge “Sky Bridge 721” is a must. It is now the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge – as the name suggests it is 721 m long and was opened in 2022. “516Arouca” suspension bridge in Portugal used to be the longest suspension bridge before. But now Dolní Morava holds the world record, the bridge is open form 9 am to 8 pm, admission fee is 350 Czech crowns (12 Euro). If you are not afraid of heights you will enjoy an unforgettable adventure at a maximum height of 100 m above the ground.
