The town of Říčky v Orlických horách is nestled among rivers, pine forests and the Orlické Mountains in the northeast of the Czech Republic near the Polish border at a height of 635 meters. It is well known due to its ski area, which is located on the north slopes of the Zakletý mountain 900 meters high.
With only 88 inhabitants, the village is quiet. Tourism takes place mainly in the ski center of Říčky v Orlických horách (in summer too). From June until autumn, you can take a hike or use your mountain bike to explore this area of the Orlické Mountains on the well-developed network of paths. For a bit more excitement, take an off-road cart for the descent. A highlight for young and old is the climbing park. You can hold on to ropes three to 16 meters above the ground that are secured to the trees.
Říčky v Orlických horách is among the most well known and popular ski areas in the Czech Republic. Skiers and snowboarders not only get their money’s worth during the day on the almost 5 kilometers of slopes, but at night too. The feratel webcam shows you what is happening live on the slopes at Říčky. Cross-country skiing runs along the ridge of the Orlické Mountains. This unique panoramic view makes cross-country skiing here a special experience.
