Located at an altitude ranging from 715m to 1,310m Spindlermühle is the most popular ski resort of the Czech Republic. Each winter up to 15,000 tourists visit the ski resort, boasting 25 kilometres of ski trails, 14 cable cars and ski lifts. The great variety of slopes includes blue pistes suitable for beginners, but also black pistes challenging professional and expert skiers. Freestyle skiers will be thrilled by both the big terrain park and the halfpipe. Every year Svatý Petr (Saint Peter) is the venue of a big Freeride Skiing Festival. Other leisure activities such as tobogganing, snow tubing or horse-drawn carriage rides are also catered for.
Spindlermühle has a great variety of walks. Visit Pramen Labe(1,386m), a well casing of concrete symbolising the origin of the River Elbe. There are several waterfalls worth exploring: the 140m Pančavský vodopád or 200m Labský. Paragliding, rock climbing, quad excursions, high mountain tours and lots more complete the offer in Spindlermühle.
