Bayrischzell-Sudelfeld ski resort comprises 40km of pistes served by 29 lifts and is the largest skiing area in Germany. A state-of the-art snow making system guarantees quality snow throughout the winter. Winter enthusiasts will be thrilled by the ski trails of all difficulty levels easy to expert as well as by the terrain parks. More than 100km of perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails attract thousands of cross-country skiers every year. 50km are classic style and 50km are skating style trails. Wendelstein Mountain is 1,.838m high and Bayrischzell’s local mountain. The hiking and walking trails are suitable for all ages and are the perfect adventure for the whole family. More ambitious climbers will enjoy tours to Kleine and Große Traithen or Brünnstein Mountain.
