Mehlmeisel – Klausenlift ski resort offers ideal conditions for winter sports enthusiasts. Since 1968 three two-person chairlifts have been taking skiers and snowboarders to the spacious ski runs of Klausenhang. Family Land, the biggest in the north of Bavaria, is perfect for the little ones to make their first turns on the snow; a covered magic carpet takes the children up the hill. State-of-the-art snow-making equipment guarantees great skiing until spring. Night skiing is also possible until late in the evening. Groomed cross-country trails and winter hiking paths criss-cross the magic landscape of the Fichtel Mountains.
