Schierke am Brocken is a district of Wernigerode in the district of Harz (Hochharz) in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The town is located in the Harz/Saxony-Anhalt Nature Park and borders the Harz National Park to the north. At 1,142 m, the Brocken, Schierke's local mountain, is the highest mountain in northern Germany.
