The Santa Caterina Valfurva ski area is located at an altitude of 1,738 to 2,800 meters and has 35 kilometers of perfectly groomed ski slopes. The most famous run in the ski area is the "Deborah Compagnoni" slope, named after the multiple world champion and Olympic champion Deborah Compagnoni, who was born in the village. The slope was opened in 2005 as part of the World Ski Championships and has a modern lighting system, which also makes night skiing a pure pleasure. For children, the ski area offers a ski and snowboard school as well as a modern conveyor belt.
