Banská Bystrica is the fifth largest city in Slovakia with over 78,000 inhabitants. It is located about two hours by car from the capital Bratislava and is known as a mining town of the Middle Ages and Modern Times. Skiing in Ski Králiky

The Králiky ski resort is located at the foot of the northeastern Kremnicke vrchy Mountains at an altitude of 805 to 929 meters above sea level. It is about ten kilometers from the town of Banská Bystrica and offers the beautiful natural scenery of the Low Tatras. For enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders, the ski resort offers about 2.8 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes and three modern lifts. The slopes are all classified as "easy" and thus offer the ideal opportunity to learn skiing and/or snowboarding and, above all, to practice extensively right away. The slopes are perfect for beginners and therefore also for families with children. However, winter sports enthusiasts who like adventure or endurance sports are also in the right place at Králiky ski resort: the snow park with tricky jumps and obstacles as well as regularly maintained cross-country skiing trails are ready and waiting.

If you don't have your own winter sports equipment, you can easily rent it at the ski and snowboard rental. There is also a service center for equipment maintenance and a ski and snowboard school. Those who still feel like a nightcap after an eventful day can have a drink in the après-ski bar or try the local delicacies in the restaurant. By the way, if the day skiing hours are not enough, there is night skiing.
