Where is Krušetnica located?

The municipality of Krušetnica (German: Kruschenitz) is located in Žilinský kraj, the north-western administrative district of Slovakia, not far from the border with Poland. It belongs to the Orava region, which is known for its mountain landscape, clear rivers and traditions. Just under 960 people live in an area of around 17 km². The center of the municipality lies at an altitude of 656 meters above sea level. The town of Námestovo and the Orava reservoir are in the immediate vicinity. Due to its high altitude, Krušetnica is an ideal starting point for winter and summer activities.
