The village of Cerler is located in the municipality of Benasque in the province of Huesca in Spain. The village in Aragon lies in the so-called Benasque Valley at an altitude of 1,560 m, making it the highest village in the Aragonese Pyrenees. The village itself has only around 250 inhabitants and is surrounded by 60 three-thousand-metre peaks. The highest peak in the Pyrenees, the Aneto (3,404 m), is also practically in the neighborhood and towers high into the sky.
