Emmetten offers a wide range of activities and experiences for young and old all year round. In winter, the region is transformed into a family-friendly winter sports area. The Klewenalp-Stockhütte offers around 35 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, as well as several lifts, conveyor belts and ski schools. The nine-kilometre-long toboggan run from Klewenalp via Twäregg and Stockhütte back to Emmetten is particularly popular - the longest toboggan run in Central Switzerland. Snowshoe hikers and winter hikers also get their money's worth in the snow-covered landscape.
When the snow melts in spring, the summer season starts in Emmetten with a dense network of hiking trails. Around 70 kilometers of hiking trails open up the region - from leisurely strolls to more challenging panoramic trails, such as the Klewenalp-Stollen-Stockhütte route. Barbecue areas along the trails invite you to take a break and enjoy the view. For those who prefer more sporty activities, mountain biking, bikeboarding, paragliding or the Ergglen climbing garden offer the perfect adventure. For children, Emmetten offers exciting playgrounds with numerous highlights.
