The most beautiful high valley in Europe, which is also particularly snow-sure at around 1,110m above sea level, also makes cross-country skiers' hearts beat faster. On a total of 140 kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country trails, you will find everything from easy to varied loops, including a competition route. Every year, countless participants compete in one of the largest cross-country skiing events in Austria and Germany, the "Ski-Trail Tannheimer-Tal - Bad Hindelang". Another special highlight is the cross-country ski trail on the frozen Haldensee lake.
There is also plenty to discover for non-skiers in winter. Snowshoe hikes and winter walks on the cleared paths offer an opportunity to enjoy the snow-covered landscape. The webcam in Zöblen shows you whether the sun is shining or snowflakes are falling from the sky in the Tannheimer Tal.
