The three villages of Russbach, Gosau and Annaberg form the center of the diverse Dachstein West ski region. Other highlights include the Marcel Hirscher race course with timekeeping, speed measurement routes, snowcross facilities with a starting machine, as well as challenging mogul pistes and undulating runs that promise pure skiing fun. Brumsiland at the Hornspitzbahn valley station in Gosau is the ideal place for children to learn to ski while having fun. Use the webcam in Gosau, which points directly at the pistes, to get a first impression of the wonderful slopes and find out about the current snow conditions.
In summer , the Dachstein West hiking region delights with its wonderful glacier views and lake magic. The Gosaukammbahn cable car takes you to the Zwieselalm, which attracts visitors with its impressive panorama. Family-friendly hiking trails, challenging mountain tours and the Intersport via ferrata on the Donnerkogel await here. For families, all-terrain baby carriages are available free of charge at the Gosaukammbahn mountain station so that even the little ones can experience the mountain world. A special highlight is the annual Alm-Musiroas in July, where well-known music groups perform on the mountain pastures and the hut keepers offer regional delicacies. The Alm-Jause-Kombiticket combines rides up and down the mountain with delicious meals in the participating huts on the Zwieselalm.
