The town's local mountain, the Wurmberg, is the second highest mountain in the Harz Mountains after the Brocken and a popular destination for nature and sports enthusiasts. Guests appreciate the Wurmberg Alm on the summit, the Small and Large Wurmberg Cliffs, the Wurmberg Quarry and the Bear Bridge. The routes range from freeride and slopestyle to downhill trails, which are also a real experience for young and old on monster scooters.
