The municipality of Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden is located in the district of Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria in Germany. Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden is home to 1,701 people and covers an area of 129.17 km². Ramsau sits in the Berchtesgaden Basin and is enclosed by the mountains of Watzmann, Hochkalter, Reiter Alm and Lattengebirge. The highest point of the community is Watzmann Mittelspitze at 2,713 m, the lowest is Ramsauer Ache at 630 m.
